RATNAGIRI WASHED CUT is a washed SLN 9 from Ratnagiri Estate in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, grown at 1,310 m. The fruit comes off the bean before it dries, so the cup is clean: soft cocoa and toasted sweetness, with the brightness held in proportion. We roast it medium, to Depth 45, after you order, in New Delhi. It is easy to dial in on espresso, pour-over and French press, and the finish stays smooth and structured whichever you use. It is not a fruit coffee.
