Roaster Notes
STILL LIFE is a 100% Arabica from Kaapikaadu in Karnataka, grown by Mr. Lobo. Whole cherry is sealed away from oxygen and fermented with EM5, a live culture rather than a lab strain, which keeps the ferment slow and the acidity round instead of sharp. In filter it tastes of dried date, cocoa nib and sweet lime. As espresso it moves to raisin, dark caramel and soft citrus. The date and the cocoa carry the weight, and the sweet lime stops it going heavy. Roasted medium light.
