About the roaster

From their words.

Okiru ethically sources single-origin coffee from India's coffee heartlands, honoring smallholder farmers across Coorg, Chikmagalur, and the Araku Valley. Each coffee is shaped by its own elevation, rain, and soil. They roast in small batches, on demand, and each bag ships within days of leaving the roaster. The Zirakpur roastery sits in the middle of the cafe so visitors can watch green beans turn golden; they also run a cafe and roastery in Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh.

“We roast on demand - your coffee was on the roaster days ago, not months.”
— Okiru
